N59 at Owenbeg
Sligo County Council and Harrington Concrete & Quarries are please to announce that the N59 at Owenbeg is to re-open to today this Friday 28th July and that diversions vis the R297 and R298 regional roads are now lifted.
The completion of accommodation works for the scheme will continue over the coming weeks and these will be carried out under traffic management (shuttle system with traffic lights) on the N59 itself.
We wish to thank the public for their patience and cooperation during the closure of the N59 to accommodate the necessary roadworks.
