Housing First is a recovery-oriented approach to ending homelessness that centres on quickly moving people experiencing homelessness into independent and permanent housing and then providing additional supports and services as needed.

 

Housing Support Worker/ Team Leader

To work as a part of Sligo Social Services multi-disciplinary team delivering a ‘Housing First’ service.

The successful candidate will be offered a fix term contract of employment for 35 hours per week.

The role of the Team Leader will be based in Sligo Town and Letterkenny Co. Donegal.

Successful applicants will have:

• Level 8 qualification in Social Care/Social Work
• Minimum 5 years’ relevant post qualification experience, preferably with some experience in a supervisory role
• Access to car and full driving licence.
