    “To ask this Council to review the amount and the siting of signage on the beach front in Strandhill.”
  2. To consider the following motion as submitted by Councillor D. Bree
    “That the County Manager provide the Council with a report indicating the monthly repayments on the €15 million term loan drawn down in 2010 and the interest paid each month on the loan.”
  3. To consider the following motion as submitted by Councillor M. Clarke“To call on Sligo County Council to confirm that it will be;
    1. Fitting the entire housing stock with carbon-monoxide alarms 
    2. All premises leased on long term lease and re-allocated to council tenants be included for fitting of carbon monoxide alarms.”
  4. To consider the following motion as submitted by Councillor M. Clarke
    “To Call on Sligo County Council to provide an up to date report on the provision of pedestrian crossings at Main Street Ballysadare and Dromore West.”

    “To call on Sligo County Council to meet with members of Dromore West Community Council to discuss the possibility  of a long-time lease of some land at Knocknacullen, Dromore West for recreational use i.e., astro-turf pitch and running track.”

    “That Sligo County Council resolves that it has no confidence in the County Manager Mr Hubert Kearns.”
  2. To consider the following motion as submitted by Councillor P. McGrath
    “What is the total amounts of money owed to Sligo County Council in respect of the following:
    1. Rent due on Local Authority Housing.
    2. Improvement works in Lieu.
    3. Shared ownership.
    4. What is the largest amount of money owed by an individual?
    5. What is the longest period of time for which this money is owed?”
  3. To consider the following motion as submitted by Councillor M. Clarke
  4. “To call on Sligo Council to provide a report on the Docklands area in Sligo, which is now in the ownership of the Council.
    1. A economic strategic report
    2. A report on the environmental study been carried out
    3. A report to see how I T Sligo could assist the council in bringing forward plans for this area.”
  5. To consider the following motion as submitted by Councillor M. Clarke
    “To call on Sligo County Council to provide a report on Council ‘once off houses’ in rural areas in relation to their septic tanks and will the Council upgrade those tanks, if required, for its tenants?”
  6. To consider the following motion as submitted by Councillor M. Gormley
    “Due to the increase in crime, the closing of Garda Stations and the reduction in Garda numbers; that this Council calls on the Government and the Minister for Justice to end the embargo on the recruitment of Gardai and open up the training centre in Templemore for the intake of trainees.”
  7. To consider the following motion as submitted by Councillor S. MacManus
    “Recognising the potential dangers to personal confidentially inherent in using personal details held by utility companies, Sligo County Council will not use the power it has been given by Section 14 of the Local Government (Household Charge) Act 2011 to access information held by utility companies for the purpose of identifying potential liability to the household charge.”
  8. To consider the following motion as submitted by Councillor D. Bree
    “Noting that arrears of €1.8 million in Development Contributions/Levies was owed to this Council on the 1st January 2012; and further noting that seven developers/development companies owe in excess of €100,000 each; this Council calls on the County Manger to provide a report (a) indicating the exact amount of money owed to the Council by each of the seven developers/development companies (b) the action taken to date by the Council to collect the money from each of the seven developer/development companies and (c)  given that Section 48 of the Planning and Development Act 2000 provides the planning authority with power to impose a planning condition for phased payments of contributions, to ask the Manager if such a condition was imposed in respect of any of the seven developers/development companies.”
  9. To consider the following motion as submitted by Councillor D. Bree
    “To ask the County Manager when the reports sought by the Council on:
    1. the Sligo Museum project including details of all funding spent on the project and the source of the funding; and:
    2. on funding, grant aid and assets donated by the County Council to the Model Niland Gallery, including details of when the funding was approved and the source of the funding; will be made available to the Council for consideration.”
  10. To consider the following motion as submitted by Councillor S. MacManus
    “That Sligo County Council would take the necessary steps to address the traffic control problems which currently exist at the roundabout at the top of the Burmah Road in Strandhill. Such steps would include reviewing control of traffic travelling both from Sligo towards Strandhill and along the Burmah Road towards the roundabout, with an emphasis on provision of speed control entering the roundabout, curtailing traffic from Strandhill passing inside on left at roundabout and any alteration of road markings which might be needed.”

    “To call on Sligo County Council to ask the Government to reverse its cuts and re-instate rural transport to its 2011 levels.”

    “That this Council calls on the HSE to indicate what proposals if any they have for the extension and improvements to the Health Centres and to services at

    2. Tubbercurry.”

    “To call on this Council to work closely with all the Tidy Towns committees and voluntary groups over the coming months, to ensure that we achieve the most effective cleanup of our roadsides this spring time and throughout the rest of the year; and in a effort to help promote this objective and increase the public awareness of the County's anti litter policy, that the Council use an anti litter slogan in all its advertising in the future.”
