    “That the Council agree in principle to dispose of The Old Sewerage Works at Tieveboy, Ballymote to Elanden Ltd for a nominal sum subject to this company disposing of the old mill at Keenaghan, Ballymote for a nominal sum to Ballymote Community Enterprise Ltd. The said old mill premises will be developed as a heritage centre and transport museum for the benefit of the people of Ballymote and its environs and for use by visitors to the area”.

    “To ask the Minister for Health and Children, Ms Mary Harney and Mr Brendan Drumme, CEO of the Health Services Executive to retain the cancer services in Sligo General Hospital and if not retained, that Sligo County Council calls on them to resign”.

    “That this Council agree in principle to amend the Local Area Plan for Ballymote by including an objective for the provision of a retirement village on the site outlined on the attached map”.

Health Services in Tubbercurry e.g. bringing all doctors, consultant health servants all located in the one complex. Patients over-night stay and adequate car park spacing. This is the way the new H.S.E is moving”.
